Rick Evans celebrates with Fred Colby, Owner of Laughing Dog Brewing
At Evans Brothers, we have always made it a priority to collaborate with local and regional businesses. Laughing Dog Brewing, along with Pend Oreille Winery, are two successful craft businesses that we admired when we started our coffee roasting company five years ago. Fred Colby of Laughing Dog came to us a year or ago to collaborate on a coffee porter, and we selected our cold brew Organic Sumatra for his Anubis Coffee Porter.
We were thrilled to learn that Laughing Dog's Anubis took the Gold Medal for all coffee beers at the North American Beer Association last month. There are a ton of coffee and beer collaborations these days, so winning first place is an honor for both out businesses. Laughing Dog is the 2nd largest brewer in Idaho, growing fast, and the Anubis is bottled all over the country with the Evans Brothers logo.
We look forward to more collaborations with our talented local business owners in Sandpoint and beyond!
